In this task about understanding about Canon DSLR cameras, I have learnt the fundamental information in order to progress with my work towards the final product. This is due to cameras being a big part of planning and the construction of my final product, as I will need to be able to function a camera with ease when filming for my production. Within the video, I demonstrate my knowledge of inserting SD cards and batteries into the camera correctly, as well as how to attach the lens and turn the camera on. Moreover, I show how to take pictures and videos using different mode settings on the camera which have to be switched to. I also demonstrate my knowledge of how to zoom into specific things within a frame, as well as how to fix the focus of the shot. Finally, I show how to view any footage which has been filmed with the camera and delete any unneeded footage. On top of this, I have regularly been viewing other YouTube videos which explain the other functionalities of the camera, such as adding a filter to the camera and creating a black and white video. I also use cameras often when filming for research tasks, which has helped me gain a sense of confidence when dealing with Canon DSLR cameras.
