TASK 15 //
RESEARCH INTO INSTITUTIONS
My research for this task has been displayed in the style of a comic strip/storyboard. Underneath all of the pictures shown, I have written an in-depth research paragraph on my chosen institutions (production companies) I chose to research into. These institutions were Life is My Movie Entertainment, Detour FilmProduction and Fork the Man Productions.
Within researching for the completion of this task, I found out critical information in order for me to produce a successful coming of age short film. The task allowed me to view production companies which have examples of coming of age films which I should aim to make. Examples of these films are 'Dangerous Calling', 'Tape' and 'The Newton Boys'. Also, I was able to understand the background of these companies and WHY they are successful. They were successful in my eyes due to their desire to be unique and aim to maintain the realism effect.
