After deciding on what head on I would pursue as the storyline of my coming of age film, I decided to make a more in-depth mood board for the plot. I decided which head on to further develop by asking for other people's opinions within the target audience's age-range. This would allow me to find what people who I know would be most interested in. I also considered which plots would be most feasible to create in terms of the resources and the budget which I would have access to.

In this mood board, I am able to show the desired appearance of my protagonist through various images. The images focus on the particular make up effects which will be used to create the 'emo-inspired' and gothic look. These make up items include black eye shadow, mascara, light foundation and black lipstick. It also features the other jewellery items which the protagonist will be wearing, such as: a nose ring, hooped earrings, a ring and a choker.

I have also shown an insight into the props which will be used throughout the shooting of the short film, such as: a handbag, make up bag, a phone, headphones, a violin and posters to be hung in the room of the protagonist. This will allow the audience to identify her as a goth. It will help create the identity which is needed in order to successfully display her as an emo, therefore the stereotypes of this type of person can be associated with the protagonist.

Lastly, I have also added images which show some locations which will be implemented into my own production. These locations are typical within a coming of age film, such as: alleyways, subways, a bedroom and a bedroom.
