Whilst researching into existing film production companies, I have gained an understanding on the outline of existing production companies within the market. I have been able to view productions of these companies, as well as find out what projects they are currently working on. I have also been able to understand the definition of a production company, which is a company which provides the physical basis for works in the realms of performing arts, film, television, radio and video. This task will aid me when planning my own short film, as it has allowed me to view what is currently within the market and who is producing these high-end films which I aspire to remake.
